Make Your Own Piñata
Over many years piñata’s have been made from various materials from papier-mache, pottery to cloth, they are known for being very popular in Mexico, but actually originated in China for New Year celebrations.
Fun for birthday parties, piñatas are hung up high and party guests take a turn at bashing the pod with a long decorated stick and wearing a blind fold. Candy and small gifts are usually used as filling for the piñata, but why not be inventive? We’d love to hear from you if you come up with unique ideas.
